Money Spells

Open workshop door behind a green candle, prosperity bag, three coins, herbs, citrine, knotted cord, and key

Money spells — sometimes called prosperity or abundance spells — are workings to turn the tide of your finances toward growth. In witchcraft, money magic is less about conjuring gold from nothing than about opening doors: drawing opportunity, steadying luck, clearing the blocks that keep abundance away, and aligning your own effort with a rising tide.

Money magic takes many forms:

  • Green candle spells — the classic working to draw steady abundance.
  • Money jars and mojo bags — cinnamon, basil, and coins sealed to keep prosperity growing.
  • Herb and crystal charms — a citrine in the wallet, a bay leaf in the purse.
  • Knot and candle workings — timed to the waxing moon to build momentum.

Prosperity magic answers to Jupiter and the element of Earth. Its correspondences are green (money) and gold (wealth), the herbs basil, cinnamon, and mint, citrine or green aventurine, and Thursday or the waxing moon to grow abundance — see the full table in the correspondences guide.

As with all the craft, work within the Wiccan Rede: an it harm none. Money magic draws opportunity toward you; it does not take from another. Pair each spell with real-world action — the spell opens the door, but you still walk through it.
