The Working
- As the full moon rises, set a bowl of water on the sill where her light can reach it, with a pinch of salt and a few pale herbs — chamomile, elderflower, a curl of mint.
- Let the water drink the moonlight while you draw a warm bath, then pour the moon-water into it.
- Speak the first grace as you step in, and name what you wish blessed in yourself.
- With cupped hands, pour the water over your shoulders nine times, giving a fresh grace at each pour.
- Sit a while in the silver stillness and let the ninefold blessing settle like dust upon the surface.
- Rise without haste, and leave a trace of the water to finish drying upon the air.

Variations & Substitutions
- Warm the blessing. If you prefer a consecrating scent over a lunar one, swap the chamomile, elderflower, and mint for the Sun-blessed herbs of this intent: frankincense, rosemary, and rose.
- No bathtub? A bowl and a soft cloth serve as well — pour the moon-water over your shoulders nine times as a standing sponge blessing.
- Mind the selenite. Selenite softens and flakes in water, so keep it beside the tub as a silent guardian, and drop a tumbled clear quartz into the moon-water instead.
