Begin with the purpose. Choose one main color and, if needed, one balancing color. Too many colors can scatter a simple working. Consider your own associations: white may mean peace to one witch and sterility to another; red may feel courageous or alarming.

If the exact candle color is unavailable, use white and surround it with the chosen color through cloth, paper, flower, stone, or visualization.

Wiccan Color Meanings

White
